Honestly, this is a confession that you have a problem with committing to the one you have now. You may not have cheated on him, but thinking that there is another out there keeps your options open to meeting someone - if the opportunity presents itself.
This is an internal issue - mentally, so you should make this decision yourself.
You trust in yourself and your boyfriend, so there shouldn't be an issue.
Unless, as said before, you are leaving an option open. If so, you're not being fair to your boyfriend.

i think you have nothing wrong about yourself. i mean, a lot of people feel the same way as you do, i beleive. because we never get enough. there must be something always missing thats why we think about some doubt. but after many relationship we realise we never get enough but we do need something and gradually know what we want. some might find out through the painful relationship or maybe like you, you might somday realise he is the right person wthout pain and you will be happy ever after. dont worry too much and please enjoy being yourself. and i am sure you will figure out someday. if you were meant to meet someone else, you will and you dont need to do anything. i will just happen eventually.... relax! and wish you have a great love!

I am in a same situation as you are.... I've been going out with my bf for 4 years as well and sometimes I get the feeling that their is someone else out there for me. This does not mean that I don't love him..... not at all. I think it is human for people to want to believe that something better is meant for them. That there is a person who is a little bit taller or handsomer or richer then the one in your life.... at the end of the day you have to look at reality...... can you imagine being without him? If yes, then maybe he isn't the one for you.... I hope you find the love of your life, be it with your bf or that stranger around the corner.
