does anyone know of a good church in melbourne? i can't seem to find a happy medium between boring and cringe worthy!! the traditional style has me struggling to keep focus on the message and dread going to church. whilst the modern style of church usually irritates me with its attempts to be hip and entertaining and i find them rather patronising and well, just not me.
what i would really like is one that is intellectual and informative. more like a lesson than an attempt to entertain or sell, sell, sell.

I don't live in Melbourne, but I believe you can look
at the phone book, church section then from there
hopefully it take you to the right place.
you can also ring directory assistance.

there is one which i bypass to from time to time (Christmas, specifically) it is in Finch St, East Malvern. (fairly inner south-jap suburbs) can not keep in suggestions what that is suggested as (St John's perhaps?) that is on the top of Finch St, close to the nook of Waverly Rd. it type of feels to be fairly inventive, yet is honestly no longer one in each and every of those new age ones with large billboards out the front that asserts "Jesus is cool" or some thing like that. that is an Anglican one i imagine. If that is not any longer your bag, there's a Greek Orthodox Church around the nook in Epping street (the position I stay). It has large street parades at easter which seem as if relaxing.

Good luck! The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.

Churchianity is a pagan religion. The only thing that will change a person is the indwelling savior Yahoshua. Obviously that is rare in this sinful world.
