And withdrawal depends upon on long you have been dependent and how frequently you are taking it.

A person only taking 0.5mg ONE time a day for ONE WEEK could stop completely and have no withdrawal symptoms. Or, they might have very mild side effects that only last a few days.

A person taking 0.5mg TEN times a day for TEN YEARS would have to slowly wean over the course of several weeks (or even months) to minimize withdrawal symptoms.
