I don't believe in psychic experiences (or the paranormal). Has anyone ever experienced them first-hand? Can you tell me about it? Please tell me honestly in your opinion what happened. Any skeptics, please don't answer - I just want to hear from 'believers'.

Hmm...the only thing I can think of if this:

When I was 13 (a pretty long time ago) my best friend and I held both of our hands together and I would think of a number between one and ten and she would try to guess. She guessed every single time. We did it probably around 8 times until we just couldn't take it any more. It scared us. I don't know why it scared us, I guess because it wasn't normal.

Now mind you, she didn't think she was psychic or anything, it was just a couple of 13 year olds having fun but it still doesn't make sense to me.

I'm a believer because it's just my personality. Most people don't believe in things unless they are proved to be true, I believe in things unless they are disproved. Makes life more interesting. :o)

Sort of a psychic experience:

I had a dream that I was in a hospital conference room with my father and the doctors were talking about a condition my father supposedly had that was pretty serious in the dream.

I was woken up suddenly by my land line ringing. No one calls that unless they're telemarketers. I picked up and a woman was on the other end. I tried to put her off, thinking her to be a telemarketer, but it turns out she wanted to reach the animal hospital.

I thought that was kind of freaky, especially since the call came after the dream.

I have had them numerous times, although it was God speaking clearly and loudly to me. I pray a great deal asking for Jesus to get involved in my world and sure enough, he shows up from time to time. For example, one time was praying for God to "give me the gift of prophecy" while riding my bike to work. That is the #1 gift the Bible says we should ask for--works like psychic experience and why I think so fun. But what happened was I was praying for this and other things in order to help others. I was also thinking about my need to get a high pressure racing bike pump for my bike because I must go to a bike store for that. And when i stopped at a stoplight this homeless looking guy accross the street had a racing bike pump in his hand (this was a very wierd). So I cross the street and he ask me out of the blue if I want it. So I give him some money for it and go about my way. Then God speaks loudly in my mind that I need to go back to the guy, get to know him and invite him to my house for lunch and invite him to church. Now, my family and I are goodie two shoes types and this was way outside our comfort zone but given this was obviously God speaking I did it. My friend joined us numerous times at my house and I shared the story of Jesus with him as we became friends. He became a Christian and a couple of months later was murdered. So yes, I am am a believer and have many other stories like that.

Spirituality is born from a personal occurrence with a divine, psychic or mystical experience of one form or another which inevitably connects a person to All that Is/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit /whatever you want to call it.

Religion is second hand opinion of someone else’s divine experience. I think you will find that religions, and especially fanatical religions, tend to separate and divide people, while spirituality brings people together.

For those who are ready, no explanation is necessary and for those who are not, no explanation is possible! http://www.psychic-junkie.com

Yes, I do on a regular basis. It is a gift from GOD. I have so many stories. All I can really say is that the mind can not concieve, what it doesnt comprehend. I am different & unique, because that is the way GOD made me. I use my gift to help others..........

I have seen and felt the presence of ghost, spirits, angels, and God since are four. To many stories to list all the details, I'll give a few examples of what happened. I have seen six that I was sure of, I believe two were spirits, one of them my spirit guide, she communicated in many ways, and the communication got stronger when she knew that I was able to see her, she even talk out loud to me. I have see three that I knew were ghost, I use to work nights at a hospital, and had one come up to my face as if it was kissing me, I jumped back into the room I just came out of, it was grayish in color, see through, and broken up, couldn't tell if it was a man or woman, didn't even see eyes on it, but it had the ghost mouth, it turn it's head to look at me in the room, I felt it's thoughts, it was thinking,"I am scaring the hell out of him" then it went into what appear to look like a bolt of lighting and took off. I felt it was a man, perhaps on his way to the light, when I cut it off, by stepping in front of it.
I felt the presence of as many as one hundred ghost and spirits. I felt God's presense once very strongly, when he intervene to me on a job site. It was in the moment of truth, and compassion that I felt in my heart for my boss, I felt God's presence fall on me, in me and all around me, warm and happy feeling, and I felt what he said to me in my head, "I am happy with you". I will never forget that day.
