or do they get their priesthood from satan and his churches of babylon? see rev 17:1,5 18:4
i hear this all the time, christians quote You are chosen generation a royal priesthood. http://scriptures.lds.org/en/1_pet/2/9#9
but i also know that NO one takes this honor unto himself and must be ordained like Aaron. Aaron was ordained by the laying on of hands.
I dont beleive I was chosen to be a priest I only believe my preisthood was confirmed. but does every single christian who practices laying on of hands have authority to ordain someone a priest. ?
I know there are some christian groups that claim they get authority from the bible alone! thats just wrong. So how many priesthoods have survived the appostacy and the fallign aways. i know a couple of groups of religious people in the 1800's believe no one has the authority including from the bible.

you are speaking of a literal office position, such as being established in a "job title" - however what Christians generally mean by the priesthood of the believer is in a spiritual sense. They do not hold the "office" of priest (as a literal job title) - they enter into the spiritual realm of BEING priests with the authority, character development, responsibilities and spiritual privileges as such (telling satan to get under their feet, for instance). Do not "literalize" what was meant to be Spirit. All Christian offices of Pastor, Priest whatever, as far as I am aware, require special education and training to be achieved before being confirmed into any actual "office." The Spiritual application of the laying on of hands that you mention is sometimes done when a "lay" person feels called to a certain area of "priestly" ministry and fellow believers unite with them in prayer that God empower them in that area and use them mightily in His Kingdom. But it is not to establish them into any kind of literal office - it is simply asking for Divine blessing and guidance in that person's life for what they feel God would have them do in their life for His Kingdom. ALL Christians are Kings and Priests UNTO God. It is part of our position IN HIM.

read abouit the true priesthood, that which is on the order of melchizedec. aaron was just a man who failed his most important assignment, to keep the the tribes from sin. he failed and was the leader of the rebels who would sacrifice to the golden calf. forgiven his transgression, he became the priest of the lord's tribe of levi. how many later priests failed as well?
melchizedec didn't falter, or fail in his purpose. but he was also before the lord and was the one to be sought in his order of worth and his dedication to god's law, not man's follies.

lds has many things, but the truth is not all one sourced as all religions think, nor do they know the truth . if they did,, they would not be as they are- rulers over those who are ignorant.

religions have one purpose, to mislead and hide those who think they know what is best , when what is best will only be found within the spirit, not some mere words designed to preach ignorance and keep control of those who are well-read and speak nonsense from that which is of no sense.

religion is the most deadly of all man's creations. soon, many will come to understand that!

Uh, that pictular scripture you quoted is for the Levites of Jesus's time.

You've taken it completely out of the correct context, added some other words and confusion, and you've totally missed its meaning.

Christ, when he was alive was living under the Old Testament. The New Testament concept of Grace and Redemption didn't take effect until Christ died- remember when the Temples Curtain was ripped from top to bottom?

True faith, and salvation comes from Scripture. No organized religion is close. There is a heavenly father YHVH. There is a divine/human Savior YAHOSHUA. The Seventh day "Saturday" is the special day for rest and worship. How does it look so far? do I need to go on? Eternal life is only available by grace received through faith. I give Him my sins, and He gives me eternal life. If I stay attached to my sins, I will end up where they will, which is the lake of fire in which sin and sinners will be destroyed!

I believe we that are truely save are called into priesthood but are not all called as a high priest as was arron i call it discipleship Jesus sent them out to teach others what he tought them, in so doing you are doing the work of priesthood in what you are called to do, the closer you get to God the more he will reveal to you.

the beginning chapters of Hebrews will show you that Jesus was made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedec which is superior to the levitical priesthood.

When a person is a baby in the Words of Jesus, one should not try to digest meat too quickly. Remember, Seek first the kingdom of God and all things you need shall be added to you". Jesus gave this directive in Matthew.

"A member of the Roman Catholic Church, got here to Utah and spoke from the stand of the Salt Lake Tabernacle" + i replaced into continuously instructed that non-Latter-day Saints could not enter the Tabernacle or Temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and non-LDS parents of persons marrying Latter-day Saints could not even attend the marriage. If it is actual then why replaced right into a Catholic accepted to talk? + Why is the call of the "member of the Roman Catholic Church" or the date of the "communication" under no circumstances reported? i'm particular if he replaced into an ordained minister of the Church then his call could have been used. "A member" could have been any of over one billion people in the international. With love in Christ.

First it is not possible for every one to take up priesthood. Second, following God is also HIS wish and you can do it only if HE he wishes so.
