to take a women on a date?

To a park. I went to a park once on a date and it was so awesome. We were sober, it was great and sunny and all we did was sit on the grass and watch people and talk. It was a real; 'I want to get to know you' kind of date, not 'I want to get into your pants as quick as possible' date. AND - it only cost like $5 bc we bought some cokes from the 7/11 when we got thirsty.
Not the beach - it's too much like you're trying to see her nearly naked
Not a bar -it's too much like you're trying to get her drunk
Not a restaurant - it's too old fashioned and boring
Not a club - it's too noisy
Take her somewhere that is going to make you stand out. If you really want to impress her, bring a picnic hamper with some salads and cold cuts and gourmet sandwiches.
I also had a really great date one time (same guy) sitting on the hood of his car and watching the planes leave our international airport. We just spent the whole night talking about the lives of the passengers. I loved it.

depends on what the womens personality is but usually a nice restaurant will do just fine.
