Not unless youve been married for a long time....depends on how much you have to lose really. As it wasnt a one night stand...emotional involvement was obviously there. If you know you werent being a good partner...it might be the wakeup call you needed.
You havent mentioned how long youd been with the girl before it happened...so I would make sure that you were both aware that the relationship was exclusive and you werent just in dating mode. People are allowed to date around before they settle after all....so thats not cheating.

They couldn't get through the 'honeymoon period' without cheating? NO WAY! That is crap! Two months is still lovey dovey time, not sneaking behing your back and lying to you time (which should be NEVER).
Come on, you couldn't do any worse could you? You are worth soooo much more than that. And the type of person who would cheat is just so acidic that they can't be good for anyone around them.

I think he meant that his lady was in a relationship with the other guy for two months. If that's the case, she was getting ready to leave you. Period. If she came back, that means that her little fantasy didn't play out like she thought it would. She's coming back because she thinks you're weak enough to have her. Don't fall for it. Lose her number, and move on.

You must face your own feelings about this person: after all they´ve done do you still care and worry about them ? if the answer is yes then maybe you should try again. Everybody deserves a second chance because we all make mistakes with no exceptions and if we regret them sincerely i dont see why we can´t be forgiven.

You can try but you'll soon realize that you can never trust her completely and your going to be paranoid as hell and ruin it in any ways. Or she's just going to break your heart again. Definitely one of these two!
