My cat likes to fall asleep on my lap whilst I watch "Two and a Half Men" and it doesn't matter what time of day it is. She always does it. Maybe it's the theme song or Charlie Sheen's voice?
She also sits on her stool and watches Takeshi's Castle.

Very sad I know but she is my best friend so I don't care.

I have 4 cats and they are all adorable, each has their own cute habits but Pudding, god bless him, likes to ride one of our German Shepherd dogs. He just jumps on top of Boo and rides around on him!! Boo lets him do so for a minute or so and then shakes him off.

Mine had loads

When I fed her as most cats do she meowed like anything. I used to say "magic password" and she meowed back then when I went to put the food down for her I said "beg" and she rose onto her bag legs. After she'd eaten she used to come and find me and lick me on the nose - a thank you I suppose.

She also had a stool by the bath for her to sit on when I was having a bath. It was right by a radiator so she loved it.

She also played "what's the time Mr Wolf" in the morning. If I was walking out of the sitting room she used to run up behind me but froze still when I turned around. We played this game most mornings.

Her favourite time of year was Christmas with the Famous Grouse adverts. You could not get her attention when they were on. She even used to pace round the TV just in case the Grouse came out! lol

She had many other habits - too many too mention. They made her so unique and beautiful.

I had a bunch of cats with all these cute habits:

1. I had a cat that would roll around everytime when Beyonce would play
2. I had another cat who liked to run into walls
3. The same cat would hiss at flies and would go by windows and hiss at birds
4. This other cat we had would guard the cat food
5. I had a kitten two years ago who tried to eat my nose

All together I had 6 cats but I don't have them anymore. Sad. I loved them.

EDIT:
I had these two kittens 3 years ago who would fight over a corn dog stick and growl at each other. One of those kittens would also try to eat my Mac and Cheese and Taco Bell.

It's cute that your cat is your best friend:) I am the same way with my little girl (8 yr old Himalayan)- she sits up on her hind legs, and with her front paws does the begging motion with the cutest meow you have ever heard for a treat every night when I get in my bed to go to sleep. She also fetches notebook paper balls. But, the cutest of all is she has to be in the same room as I am at all times, so she will just plump down on the floor nearby and lay on her back with all four of her cute little feet sticking up, but ever so tucked....she does so many cute things I could go on and on...she is definintely an entertainer without trying!

My cat thinks he's a dog! He has brown eyes and is black and white.
He plays fetch with a screwed up ball of newspaper (usually screwed up as a result of him sitting on it, when I am trying to read it), has a favourite tennis ball which he loves to chase (he is 6 months old, and the runt of the litter, and tiny!).
If he can hear you coming up the stairs to the front door, he will meow in his loudest voice until you are through the door to pick him up and give him some fuss. He gets most disgruntled if you shut the doors on him and will shout to let him in/out.
He also has this wierd facination with water, but absolutely NO desire to get wet at all.
When you turn on a tap he comes dashing into whichever room you're in and will try to see how close he can get before touching his nose on it. He will sit on the corner of the bath while you're in it as well. If you splash him you will get the 'NOT funny!' look.
He always wakes me up about an hour before my alarm is due to go off, for his breakfast. Or just to get comfy in my hair on my pillow, or to get under the covers if it is cold (he likes it if you put your arm around him, I wonder if he gets too hot or squashed someimes). If you are lying on your back on the sofa, he will act as a 'cat scarf' and let you rest your chin on him while watching telly.

He is a funny little thing!

Yes, I've had my little black and white kitty 7 years (he'd been abandoned in a plastic bag on a country lane) when my son was born two and a half years ago, I was worried in case Django might be jealous, but from the very minute I left the hospital my cat has guarded the new comer like he was his own kitten. He's always been gentle around my son (even during toddler chases around the room) they are the best of friends.

My little cat wakes me up about 4 times a night by clawing at my hair with her little paws, and if that doesn't get my attention she nips my face which is so naughty but so cure.

She also seems to know when i am due home, even though I come home at different times almost every night, apparently about 5 minutes before i walk through the front door, she wakes up, comes downstairs and waits at the front window.

And every morning about 6:30 she comes up to my pillow, i put my arm out and she lies on top of my arm so i can scratch her neck with my fingers and she'll stay like that until its time to get up (long after my arm has gone dead).

Cats can be so lovely, even tho mine is naughty i wouldn't change her for the world.

AAAWWHHH that is sooo sweet. I have had quite a few cats but never one that would sit on my lap, don't know why. I seem to pick the meanest of cats, the type that sits behind the stairs and when you walk down the passage jumps out and hisses like a mad banchee and scare the living daylights out of you. I really would love a cat that is loving, but then i had a cat who used to lie on my stomach and suck my nylon pajamas that was gross waking up with wet spit-smelling jammies. I want a normal cat for once in my life. My hubby does not like cats he says they are all killers:))

They all do don't they?

I have two babies. One of them is a real outdoorsy boy, but he loves having cuddles from his 'mum' and guards the bathroom door when I'm having a shower. He's recently taken to sleeping on my pillow all night just to be near me - bless.

The other one is a home boy and he can be very affectionate (usually in the mornings), but his best habit (which isn't cute, but is very funny) is despising people and calling them peasants (I know, I'm sad, I do voices for my cats and have conversations with them!). The way he looks at you sometimes with complete distaste is hilarious!

My cat is not cute, he's a brusier, and an intelligent bruiser at that. A new cat moved into the area and 'beat' my cat up a bit, i was watching this and thinking that my cat was getting old and feeling his age. Next day I saw him prowling around, and then settle into a nice spot, 5 minutes later the new cat appearead and was immediately jumped on by my cat, all 16lbs of muscly tom-cat. He was just sizing up the new cat's abilities the day before. He does occasionallycuddle up to me in bed, it looks cute but he only does it for the heat.

I had a Siamese who used to like eating dates and would be able to open the box once the outer wrapping had been removed, stick his paws in and then with the expertise of a skilled jewel thief he could take out the date.

Once this was done he sat looking rather regal and munched the date discarding the stone at the end.

Then in his inevitable Siamese fashion would glide passed me and I swear he smiled.
He died from old age but never lost his desire for a date or two.
