What is the best way to get someone to notice you and want to engage in conversation without being to overt? I'm bashful when it comes to guys and never seem to get noticed. It seems like I'm the only one who isn't dating or married.

Don't play games and act coy with them. Be yourself, it's so refreshing. You know how nice it is to meet a normal guy who is just himself and not all smooth and trying to play some kind of game with you? Be like that.
And maybe you could talk to them first, just in a friendly way. You don't need to be overly flirtatious to get asked out, you just need to be friendly and make it clear that he will not get knocked back. Guys don't want to get shut down, (imagine how nervous you'd be constantly having to ask girls out?!) so you've got to get it across that you will accept.

Be right up front if theres a particuler guy that you happen to like, tell him so, i know i would be quite flattered, and im sure he would be to, what a great way to get a guys attention, if your shy this is a great way to over come it, us guys dont bite, well most of the time unless you want us to. make shur he sees u first. good i contact triy to smile flip your hair. if he is still i ing u once and while walk tord him to get somthing aney thing if he ses hi stop and talk dont just say hi as u are walking by
