How old was he? My husband died at age 36 when I was 9 mos pregnant with our 2nd son. He never got to meet his 2nd child :(
I want to tell you I'm sorry for your loss. Email me anytime.

On his grave, I simply put "The best daddy, husband, son, and brother" because that's what he was.
Try to sum up in one sentence what was most special about your son. Also look on the internet and ask the shop where you bought the stone.
I think it really depends on how old he was and what was most special about him. Don't rush it. Think about it and take some time. I also put our wedding photo on the grave stone. To me, a photo was more special than what I would write. It showed my husband for what he was - vibrant, healthy, smiling, sweet, handsome and kind as can be. Look into the photo options. I did black and white. I can email you a photo if you'd like to see.
Take care and again, I am so sorry for your loss.

This is what we wrote on our sons headstone: "May the Lord Bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and give you peace" Sorry, I don't remember which scripture it is, but it is written on there too. I know how hard this is, You will always miss him and the pain will ease a little, It will always be there, just not as often. His birthday is hard, and Christmas. We by an age appropriate gift for our son and donate it to a local toy drive. It helps, I pick out what I would've probably bought for him. God Bless

We put, In Gods Loving Care
I am so sorry for your loss. We too lost a son. Our son passed away on Christmas day so it is so very difficult. They say time heals all wounds but time will never let you forget the moments spent with your son.

How about this.......

"God Bless Our Sweet Baby Boy"

Then on his birthdate write "Sent form heaven m/d/y"

On his date of death write "returned to heaven m/d/y"

This Is what was put on my neices gravestone, except it said "God Bless Our Sweet Baby Girl"
