MSSA Methicillin Sensitive Staphyloccocus Aureus.

Although it is more treatable than MRSA,(which people think you are talking about but your not) it is a lot more virulent in the effects that it has and the speed in which it develops.

There could be some after effects, as this is a massive infection to have and a lot of strain is put on the body during the time of having MSSA.

Take a trip to the docs or see the specialist who treated your MSSA and get some true answers.

Good luck.

I think you mean MRSA. I had hip replacement in Dec.2005. I came down with MRSA from the hospital. I was very, very sick for months. I was on the antibiotic Vanocymicin(excuse spelling)
I had to have the hip re-done in June of the next year. That hip kept dislocating. I had to have a third replacement in November of the year. The second surgeon was able to remove all the MRSA. I am now fine from the MRSA and pray it never comes back. As far as my hip goes, I will probably have pain all my life because of the 3 surgeries.

You need to have a good infectious disease doctor. Mine got me through this ordeal. Good luck!!!
