My advise is not to use the likes of limewire of bearshare, they are loaded with viruses and offer no explanation of what files actually are for example you could want to download misson impossible 3 and get missionary impossible 3 (bonus if you are in to that sort of thing)
Download Azureus (free) its the most secure and easiest to use program available.
Then get the torrents from www.torrentspy.com, which is great because it has user reveiws and comments on downloads so you know exactly what you are getting.
Here is a quick guide to downloading with Azureus.
1. Download and install Azureus.
2. Make a folder on your pc called downloads or soemthing similar.
3. Go torrentspy and find file you wish, either through the directory or typing into search bar. (for latest torrents, click on latest torrents)
4. Always read the comments.
5. Click on download and then save to folder you made.
6. Load up Azureus click on icon at top left that looks like a blue folder.
7. Click on add files.
8. Find the torrent in the folder you made. And press open.
9. Before you press ok, click on the browse button and choose the same folder you save the torrent in (keeps everything in same place)
10. Press ok and torrent will load up to azuresu and file will start to download.
If you are looking for the best film rips like the holiday, casino royal etc type aXXo into torrentspy, aXXo is the god of film rippers.

Shareaza is by far the best p2p,it contains no ads or spam and their forum offers more advise than you can shake a stick at.

http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

The answer lies, in what KIND of files, you want to SHARE, my friend! There are sites, like "KaZaA", and "LIMEWIRE", for those who want to share other things, apart from MUSIC, but, - for MUSIC, alone, - you MIGHT consider a program called "PIOLET"! I did, a while back, and I'm HAPPY, with the results, I'm getting! Just TRY a few, - you'll find one, that you like, I'm CERTAIN!

If you want free, try limewire if not you should purchase u torrent it is very cheap and secure and no files are mislabeled unlike limewire!
