A friend of mine is has a very pretty face and is even more beautiful on the inside. But, she's overweight and feels like guys wouldn't like her.
She is forty and a really wonderful woman. What do you think her chances are?

A lot of men are put off by overweight women and a lot of women are put off by nerdy looking guys. People are shallow. But sometimes you find that one special person who sees beyond the surface, because they are looking for what's real. No matter what you look like it's the good hearted person you really want to find anyway. Your friend should be who she is and keep her heart open. Remember she doesn't have to settle for someone who isn't right for her, simply because she is unsure of herself. He is out there looking too. Why else would there be so many,many dating sites? All kinds of people are looking for the right one. Look for the heart. Don't be fooled just because the package is pretty either.

Yeah I would definitely be turned off by an overweight women. I'm in excellent physical condition, and I expect the same from my women. I work out like a crazy person. Be a true friend and join a gym with her, go to her house and remove all junk food, and suggest she go to a doctor. If you are a real friend you would be more concerned about her potential heart failure as opposed to mending her broken heart.

Actually i like a woman with a few extra pounds on, im 6'1, 1951bs, my ex wife is 4'10, 205 pds, go figure right shes heavier than i am, your friend has a really good chance of finding someone, there are men out there who seek out full figured women, tell her to have patience, she will find the man of her dreams.

Well it depends there are many kinds of different men out there..but the majority go for looks hard to say..but there are also men that like women for who they are in the inside, but just more harder to find,no offense to the men. But I think to love someone else you must love yourself...because I was also was BIG 220 5'9'' now 170 still 5'9''. I really learned that you gotta love yourself enough to help you...But 4 reals it doesn't matter if you lose weight or not...because if you find the one it shouldn't matter. But realistically its hard to say but its little bit harder and times runnin...

Is this a question about her inside or her outside? If it is about her outside, then it's going to matter.
She could probably get a wonderful guy who is also overweight.

your seriously going to read any answers you get here as the truth? You'll moslt likley get shallow answers then what will you tell your friend? There is always someone for everyone no matter what they look like on the outside.

I have no problem with overweight women. As with skinny women, it depends on their personality first.
But not having seen her, I don't know what her chances are.

if she feels like she needs to lose weight then support her. she si not confident to get someone when she is not happy
