No, it is not a disqualification. However, it may have an effect on the position where you will be placed.

if you can't distinguish certain colors that are needed for a certain job, then yes. it might be considered discrimination, but if it depends on you being able to harm yourself, or someone else, then i wouldn't want that responsibility.
