Today I am going to break up with my bf. I already know not to tell a friend to tell him but I can't say it in face because he is in a different grade then I am. Instead of breaking it off infront of his friends, would it be okay if I wrote him a note? or what should I do?

You should say it to him face-to-face..maybe try find him when his by himself..or if you see him ..tell him that you want to talk to him in private...
But if that is not possible..and you want to write him a note..you should explain to him in detail why you are breaking up with him..
make the note sound as you would say it if you were talking to him face to face.
either way..no-one takes a break-up very well..so you should be understanding if he gets upset with you.

He deserves to be told face to face and that's the only way these things should be done. So go out with him alone and just do what needs to be done. If nothing else you should respect the time you two put in each other and talk to him.

Dont write a note that sucks real bad. Just tell him what you need to and be to the point. get it over with long goodbyes suck also.

in this situation try to call him or send him a note and tell him that you need to talk to him PRIVATELY. and when you get a chance to talk privately just tell him how you really feel and why you wanna brake up with him. and tell him that you hope he understands why you broke up with him.
