How do you know when you're insane?

Do you just wait for someone to tell you?

If it's you talking in your head your fine. If it's someone else your friggin insane.

If you are truly "insane" you won't believe it when someone DOES tell you.

I guess the point is that if you lose your mental faculties, you also lose the ability to assess your own mental health.

I do know people who I would consider to be a bit crazy, and who are aware of that, but generally speaking insane people will deny their insanity until someone ensures that the necessary steps are taken to make them sane again...

Listening to other people's opinion about yourself is not the answer. Insanity is what you make of it. You can choose to make it good or bad for yourself. I find it kind of liberating when people call me crazy. Here is one of my favorite quotes:

well, if you got the logic you cant be insane, however if you made a mistake to talk like stupids, then you imediatly notice that yourself. otherwise, illogical people keep making stupid statements or actions without knowing they sound insane. that is the public overview about your wordings or acts that tells you how do ya sound like.
