No, you are not too old to get braces. I have read where people in their 50s and 60s have gotten braces. Do you have United Concordia insurance? If so, they are not going to pay for it. I have it and I am 23. I have been searching for a better insurance, but looks like I have to pay the full cost out of pocket. I wish you the best of luck.

You are never to old to improve your happiness. You do need to consider how well of shape your mouth is in. Make sure you have all your teeth or the majority of them. You can always do thinngs to boost your confidence and self esteem or for whatever the reason you want them. Go for it! Set up a consult with an orthodontist and see what they have to say. I work in the dental field and I see all ages of people come in with braces.

No you are not tooo old to get braces. You can get braces at any age, but as you get older, retention is more important. As for the military part, it will depend in which area you are from.

Just wanted to let you know that I work in an orthodontic office and I would say that at least 25% of our patients are 30-60 years old. So GO FOR IT!!!
You will love the end results!!!!!

You are not too old, but I would consider doing invisalin. It would be better than metal or clear plastic braces.
