you probably have an addiction problem. Now that you know you have a problem, all you need to do is extend your hand to hep. Talk to your school counsellor and ask for further and appropriate advice.
Good luck to you. A lot of people get out the sticky-ness *hugs*

I used to have the same problem for a while, and a lot of my friends would play as well, we even all got together and played all night during weekends, i'm sure you know of a couple of spots that people usually hang out at, just go there and don't try to think about the game, it will be hardest the first couple of days or weeks but as time goes on you will begin to make plans and play around your social life instead of having it run your social life, if that doesn't help, start jsut surfing the internet more at the computer instead of playing the game, look up popsci and random things on howstuffworks and eventually you won't miss the game as much and it won't be a necessity anymore then you can get out and have a life again.

I'm amazed your parents allowed you to be on the computer so long at any one time.
I wish I had an answer for you. WOW addicts worry me, too. The games are fun and mentally challenging, but...
The best thing is that you are aware you have a problem. That is always the first step to finding a solution.
Do you have a good friend you could go to the movies with and get away from home and the computer? Someone who understands and can talk to you about your addiction?

The best thing you have going for you is that your addiction is a mental one, and not a physical one. But it seems like an addiction, none the less. I would say just go cold turkey. Turn your computer off. find other things to fill your time with. go for a walk around the mall or your local hang out. try for three weeks of no computer what-so-ever. You have to teach yourself all over again that there is life beyond the monitor. Good luck to ya!

look for something, start off with another computer game, then maybe another type of hobby, if you are old enough try getting a job then look for people who share the same interests as you, also destroy the game, its had a long run, and it destroyed friendships so you can justify breaking it.
