I don't think any religion says that. Christianity, I know says 'do not be unequally yoked to unbelievers' & that talks about being with someone who's not a Christian.
It's just that for a marriage/relationship to last, both partners must share a lot of things in common, including a view on religion.
When the two forms of religion have radically different ways of looking at something, it makes things complicated. Especially if one or both partners are ardent followers.
Religion for some people is a strong part of who/what they are, & to give it up (totally or partially) is really difficult. There are many things people should not give up for the sake of a marriage & one of them is religion.
It's kind of like a marriage between people from different cultures.
Of course there are people who have married like this. Whether it worked or not, I do not know.

I can't think of any religion that doesn't say that (as far as marriage goes). While I don't think that there is anything wrong with marrying outside of your religion, it does present a few problems. Which religion will you raise your children in? What religious holiday will your family celebrate? How will you and your spouse handle religious functions with your respective families?

Going by 2 Corinthians 6:14,Christians should not marry non-Christians.
That is a different thing entirely to inter-caste marriages, which are not forbidden anywhere in the Bible.

Islam allows people to marry people of the book - that includes christians(the bible), jews(the torah) & Sabians( the zabur/zaboor)
When they say people of the book they mean People who follow christianity the way it was in the time of Jesus & the same goes with the Jews - judiasm practiced like in the time of moses. The Sabians - thier religion practiced like in the time oF David.
(May peace be upon all the prophets mentioned)
So if you practice the above religions according to thier Prophets then Islam allows you to marry them because they are people of the book.

I'm not aware of any that prohibits anyone from marrying someone from another religion.
Christians say you should only marry christians from their denomination yet the bible says marry believers. so that could be marrying a Jew, Christian or others who accept God.
Likewise in Islam, the Qur'an says marry people of the book that includes Jews, Christians and others.

Christianity does. For we should marry the one who loves and believes in Jesus. For if they're not they will not be with us in Heaven. God and peace be with you. But Christians love all people regardless of their faith.
