No. I am not religious, but I am a born again Christian and I study the Bible. I don't go to church at all because I can't find one I am comfortable with, but instead I study with a group at home. The church is not what is going to get you to Heaven. It is whether you accept Jesus as your Savior and follow His ways. This is when the Holy Spirit convicts you and you change your lifestyle.

Not really.

Speaking as a former Catholic, many just go through the motion of attending church once a week because it's what they were taught to do. I know people who may not attend church services that have a much deeper spirituality.

Not to say that nobody who attends church services is religious. Obviously many of the people that do attend church really do get into it. (However, just not everybody.)

Why do you need to attend a brick or wooden building to show how religious you are? Jesus says that where ever any of you are gathered then I will be there. So you could just meet with friends in a park, house or whereever and pray to God. And it's how you lead your life that shows how religious you are.

"religious" meaning following a certain set of doctrine and rites and rituals, then yes.
But are they saved? Going to church isn't what saves you.

I do agree that we should not forsake the gathering of ourselves together, and that in general going to church is a good thing, but that is ultimately NOT what will decide where you spend eternity. It's a matter of heart and your relationship with Christ.

What kind of dog vomit is this, LOL !!!

Have you never seen a gun toting church citizen?
Of course that has nothing to do with how religious they are!

Religion comes from within, not from a building.

It only reflects how obedient you are. God says worship with other Christians, and so we do. But God will not turn away from you if you do not attend Church, but there is where you can praise and Worship Him with other Christians. God be with you.
