Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it

C5, C6 vertebrae nerve being touched to some degree. go to neurologist now or get permenant nerve damage with strength loss to arms like I got from ignoring it. Also stop any sports activity as this is the main cause other than whiplash.

As this problem could be either the nerve or your heart you should see your doctor. I would do this fairly soon because if it is a heart problem it could be very serious. Good luck to you.

Apologies to Lawrence T (previous post), but RUN SCREAMING from the office of anyone who tells you that you have carpal tunnel syndrome!

This is likely a neck problem. See your primary care doc. They may send you for some testing, and hopefully for physical therapy.

Definitely a nerve problem, I think. Whatever we all say, you really need some professional attention. Good luck x
