"First off, you atheists cannot disprove that Christianity is no true. If you can, I would like to hear your so-called evidence." - ? When you disprove you're God is not a lemon, or a giant hippo, or Rolf Harris, I will disprove it's existance.
Peace to all you real christians out there not trying to recruit everything with legs using stupid aruments like this - while I don't share you're beliefs, I know that most of you lot have good intentions and are generally good people. No offence to your religion intended.

(First I'm going to ignore the double negative that is nearly driving me to distraction in the post you quoted 'disprove it's not true?' who's side are you arguing guy?)
You can't prove a negative so it's impossible for atheists to disprove God. It's a very cheap argument that sounds smart to some but is really just juvenile (which is why I never use it). And eventually, as you point out, it devolves into 'you can't disprove God' and then you yell back at me 'you can't prove it!' and neither of us has any actual concrete proof of out positions.
I can't PROVE God exists. I can point to things that I think strongly *imply* his existence, but not outright proofs that you, an atheist would accept (for example, I can argue from the Bible with my fellow Christians, but you would not accept it as a valid source any more than I would accept Aesop's Fables as a final moral argument). You can't prove that God doesn't exist because as I said before, you can't prove a negative. So we are left shouting at each other from across the canyon.
Incidentally, if you ever can disprove God, I would really, really LOVE to hear that one. (Not saying I'd buy it, just would like to hear about it).
And thank you Eckzl for being one of the reasonable atheists. It is greatly appreciated by this Christian. I hope I have proved equally thoughtful.

From a non Christian view point, the whole idea of a Christian 'God' who has never or will ever be anything but a Christian God cannot be true. The God that the Christians believe in is the same as the one Abraham(Who wasnt a Jew or Christian) and all the Jewish Old Testament Prophets believed in.
Why do we need to argue who is right and who is wrong as all religions including Christianity ask their followers to show love and peace.
Whatever a non Christian says will just annoy the Christian who will more than likely say unless you believe 'our' God you will never have eternal life.

it is not the load of the atheist to tutor that God does not exist! yet whilst we evaluate the character of existence, the desire for a prevalent reason, whilst we seem on the argument for God's existence from morality, whilst we study the confusing information that are mandatory for the Universe to assist existence and the unlikelihood of its formation (situations which DNA co-discoverer Francis Crick called "close to spectacular"), the existence of God is STRONGLY implied. The atheist, confronted with a noisy sound coming from the subsequent room won't be in a position to easily brush aside its reason with a shrug. something is coming up the sound. The believer is undemanding with that the sound implies a reason for the sound. The atheist is forced to cutting-edge an evidence for the sound, in the event that they deny that it has a reason. in the comparable way then, it is not smart for the atheist to easily brush aside the philosophical and logical info for God's existence devoid of offering different motives. One such clarification provided with the help of one atheist astrophysicist is "The Universe is barely a style of issues that occurs each and every so often." that's not often a compelling argument. thus, you need no longer disprove the existence of God. yet you're able to offer a reasonable, logical, sound argument that explains what's thus far unexplainable. i'm confident that if one is to evaluate the info for God's existence *devoid of bias* that they are going to not often be waiting to stand up to the tip that God could exist.

I am a Christian , and it is not my job to try to prove God is real. God does that on His own , it is my responsibility and Honor as a Christian to tell the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, which is a gift from God. we as Christians need to get our hearts and minds back to where they should be and be the witnesses we where meant to be and give the Holy Spirit the chance to speak to the non-believers as The Word of God tells us to. time wasted on silly fights is time that could be spent telling The Good News. it speak of this vary thing in the book of Timothy. ( I will not say which one or where at with hopes that someone will pick up the Bible and read them for there self) .. I'm sure this is not what wanted to hear , but that's the way it is , believe it or not (that's up to you). and may the Love of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus and Father in Heaven find you doing well....... God Bless , and have a great day.

I don't expect you to disprove God. As a matter of fact I don't really get into the atheist versus Christian thing at all. I have said and will say, that one or the other of us is right and we will all find out at death.

As a True Christian, I don't have to proved God one bit, God is more than capable to show himself to this world, Why do you think when something major happens in this world You can hear everyone saying Oh my God., Why don't they say Oh my satan or Oh my non-existing God. And also it is not my job to answer any foolish questions, If I could bring God down here & I introduce you to him, You still would not believe, Because you would want some kind of sign as satan did with Jesus. & the bible said that this generation will seek signs, The burden of proof does not lay with me, The burden of proof of unbelief lays with you.

Why does Chicken George want the kidnappees at Guantanamo not to be presumed innocent? It's because he knows he can't prove their guilt (nearly 100 people have been released from Guantanamo and ZERO have been tried).
It's the same with the godbots. They _know_ they can't prove their myths, so they want to shift the responsibility instead of shifting their corpulent selves.
Most godbots shift the burden of proof because they want to impose their religion on society; those that don't invariably are those afraid that, "If I can't prove my god exists, then I can't believe in it!" which is, of course, a load of codswallop...or "godswallop", if you like.

You do not know and accept the Truth because you're a liar, and have no truth in you. Only when you accept God's gift of eternal salvation will you become clean and be set free. I am not trying to "Recruit" people, I love all people and what them to become saved from eternal damnation, that includes you. Peace and God be with you. Take care.
