I've not spoken to my close female friend for 3 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. She only wanted to be friends.
She's txt bck:i really do not have the energy to keep explaining things to you.I will be civil but i'm afraid i feel the close friendship is lost...........
We MET ON FRIDAY at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.
I apologised for hurting her i.e. wanting no contact - she snaped bck saying YOU NEVER HURT ME! GOOD/BAD RESPONSE??
I asked her if she'll join us on our group roadtrips - she said YES! - A POSITIVE SIGN OF FRIENDSHIP RESTARTING???
As she left I said that hopefully/possibly see you in a few months -she replied I'll see you at the roadtrip - we said bye and she gave me a tight hug - ANOTHER POSITIVE SIGN???
She needed a hug from my mate as it was too much for her to take in!
IS THE FRIENDSHIP REALLY LOST???Why she hurt???

i think you should forget the past and start your friendship again.. i think she's hurt bec u said that u dont want any contact frm her.. i think she still likes to be friends...

Stop looking into every move as a sign; that's your problem. You were good friends because you could be yourselves around each other. Now, every tiny gesture has a meaning, and you end up changing your reaction based on every little move she makes, and she's probably having a hard time being herself around you too.
Step 1: Give up on dating her. Seriously, let it go. She's your friend.
Step 2: Just let go and be her friend. You're her friend now, so be her friend, not some wierd guy that's trying to date her.
Step 3: Give up any hope of dating her. Truly give it up. Let it go, for the sake of not losing her.
Maybe one day, things will go to the next level, but until then, you guys are friends and nothing else. That one day could come a lot sooner than you think!

Well,it sounds like she's pretty full of herself, as if she could not be hurt by someone like you, that you didn't have that kind of impact on her. She doesn't have the energy, sounds like she doesn't want to make the time and that you are annoying to her!But at the same time ,she wants you to still have feelings for her although she has no intention of reciprocating. If I was you, I'd find some real friends that give you the time of day, you deserve it and she's not worth it! Good Luck!
