in our project we have to paste a net(metal) with stepper motor gear(plastic). so that the bold rotate with stepper motor. we tried fevi quick but while running it peal off. area to be paste is approximately a 5 mm dia circle. please provide a paste (cheap) available in tamil nadu ,chennai.

What is the plastic? This can make a difference.

Did it peel off the metal or the plastic?

There are several availble that might work, Loctite Retaining Compound works well for metals, but not sure about on plastics.

I have no idea what would be available where you are.

You can try contact adhesives or cyanocrylates, they work well with plastics. Reactive hot melts are OK but they are expensive and you need special equipment so probably no good to you.

You might neet to put some grooves in the inside hole on the gear so the glue can key into it.

I would have suggested fevi quick but since you have tried it already and it prooved useless try fevibond. This is available in hardware and craft shops all over India. If this does not work use ceramic paste with a fevicol base
