first dance is coming up in a month. never been before cuz im shy. mates are all urging to me. soooo nervous. help me out yer.
1. is it like everyones dancing the whole time or is it more like you hang out wit mates then every 20 minutes or so go ask someone to dance.
2. wat type of dancing happens?? i relly need help on this one.
3. when ur dancing do u like find details bout them. like name, school, phone number etc.

Ask a girl to go with you to the dance !
You can dance with the same person the whole time or switch, it doesn't matter dude don't sweat it.
What type of dancing happens? What do you think ? It is a school dance, not the close body contact type of dancing teenagers do at dance clubs ! The dancing is very casual and clean and not too serious.
When your dancing your smooching, don't be asking 100 questions.

Well, my school dances always had the boys on one side of the gym, and the girls on the other. No one was really dancing, and no one was brave enough to talk to the opposite sex. Than again, that was when I was about 13, and now I'm 27. Wow, things have changed.

1. More like every 5 minutes or so. You hang a bit, dance a bit, etc.
2. Hmmm... well, in my day it was disco. It may have changed. ;-)
3. Nope, you don't even get to talking. If they're interested they MIGHT flirt with you. You get to flirt back.
