I am 28 and if have been single for some time and happy. I cant say as I have been looking or even wanted a relationship. However recently I have kind of been missing that special bond, I am not sure that I want a full on relationship but would like to well, get to know someone, spend time and go out and things see what happens, at the same time I dont want to be leading anyone on! I thought about joining an internet dating site, or somthing like that what are your thoughts?

I was the same as you. I'd come out of a bad relationship had been on my own for sometime with my little boy but missed having a connection with someone, just talking to someone or being able to go out. So i went onto a dating channel on the t.v and met a couple but they weren't right for me. Then someone put a message on the screen saying it was his birthday and was anyone gonna wish him happy birthday. So i did and we got chatting. When i felt comfortable we swapped numbers and we texted and talked on the phone for 3 months before we met, this way we knew everything about each other and when we met we just clicked. I have now been with him nearly two years, we have a son together and are living together. I'm not saying you should do the same but the sites do work if you're honest with what you're looking for and just give it ab it of time. Also be very careful because there are some dishonest people on some of these sites, some just wanted pervy pics from me. Good luck to you and i hope things work out for you!!

This my friend, is called dating. When you're simply 'dating' someone, there's no pressure of the relationship. Dating includes going out, watching movies, talking, with none of the serious side. Just seeing where things go. Also, if you're just dating someone, nothing says you can't date someone else (as long as your honest with the other person(s).

Go for it! Nothing wrong with not being obsessed about dating. You probably have more to offer in a relationship because you know how to be content or happy just as you are. Good luck!

Yes I think you should meet someone & change your life. It is much better with a partner.

Try internet dating but remember people are anonymous & don't always tell the truth, you could get a few shocks.

Good luck
