ABSINTHE is illegal in america, however, you can buy it from another country and have it mailed in, or you can buy Absente which is the legal american version of it. The only difference is that it contains southern wormswood instead of the illegal version.
I've had both. The legal verson just kind of makes your skin sensitive and you get a little frisky.
The non legal version (which was drank by Van Gogh, Degas and so many more famous artists) doesnt so much make you halluncinate, it works like Extacy and makes every part of you feel warm and fuzzy and the world gets completely facinating.

I've never drunk absinthe before, but I would really love to. It's legal here in Serbia, so you can buy it in your regular liquor store. And what's great about Serbia is that you don't need to be 21 to buy booze here. You can buy it even if you're under 18. Actually, there's no law which prohibits buying alcohol if you are not the certain age, so you can even send your kid to the super market to buy you a six pack or something. Yeah, you can drink Absinthe in Serbia!

Absinthe is an alcoholic beverage that was originally made of wormwood. It is illegal in the United States as well as a slew of others. The hallucinations you speak of will not take place unless a large quantity is consumed and you would probably pass out from the amount of alcohol in your body (and risk alcohol poisoning) before you hallucinate.

Absinthe - we have the proper green fairy one. It doesn't actually make you hallucinate despite popular belief. the high alcohol; percentage doesn't help but the chemical that is in it actually makes you remember everything when you were drunk!
