I really like Bar Keeper's Friend - it's recommended by many stainless steel manufacturers. For those really stubborn stains, make a paste of water and plain table salt and scrub with a sponge. It really helps power out those burnt-on messes. (Use only on stainless, not on nonstick!)

To remove burnt stains, use a mild detergent and warm water. Then rub quite hard and maybe use a light scourer to really work into and shift those stains. Or sprinkle dishwasher detergent in the pots and pans and fill to the top with water. Place them on the stove on medium high until the water boils then remove from heat and let sit overnight with the detergent and water inside. This will remove or loosen any burnt on pieces of food and help begin removing the scorched burn marks on the inside of the cookware.

Try soaking it with a scoop or tablet of bio washing powder pref overnight. Start with a little lukewarm water to make a paste leave that for an hour or so then top it up with boiling water and leave to soak. This should loosen the stain then you can gently scrub it off. Good luck...

Pure lemon juice in a little water in bottom of saucepan - place saucepan on stove and bring to boil - when cooled sufficiently to put hand in water - wipe with abrasive sponge. Might not all come out immediately - but if you continue to use this procedure - it will eventually

It sounds silly but if you put some coca cola in that takes off the burning mark in the bottom of the pan. Something to do with the gas in the coke.

Cover with a layer of washing-up liquid and boil it, most stains wipe off. Beware - the boiling liquid burns like melted sugar and it ain't cheap as you use up all your detergent doing this.

If you have burned food on the bottum, turn them up side down and put them in soapy water, maybe overnight. After that I use a srubby sponge and some salt and some elbow grease. It gets them clean.

If you're in the Philippines, I'd say use a concentrate of excel detergent. You may use a combination of undiluted vinegar and some cleanser.
