Is it better to weigh yourself straight after your period and between 1 day to 14 days after? I find if I weigh myself one week before my period I may be heavier as i am starting to build up fluid. Is weighing yourself one week of closer to your period the wring time? Like I said morning is the best time for weighing yourself just after your period and up to 14 days after. Do you think Im right?

i doubt it's going to make that much difference in weight. if you are that obsessed with your weight, you have other things to worry about.

I would suggest that you weigh yourself every single day at the same time, either in the morning or at night, in order to find out what your natural weight range is.

Human beings are not rocks. We can't and don't stay the exact same weight all the time. We have a weight range. My weight range is about 10lbs. That would be either 5 lbs heavier than a base number or 5 lbs lighter. Your weight range will be different than mine.

I happen to live in a winter country where we talk about summer weight and winter weight. We all gain weight in the winter, its a natural, human thing.

Personally, I can gain up to 5 lbs during my period with the water weight and eating like a little piggy for two days. :) But that's okay, I'm still in my range. As a matter of fact, if I were to lose 10lbs in one month, I'd run right to my doctor to find out why because,in my case, that would be scary unnatural.

Don't fret too much about the number on the scale. When was the last time you saw someone's weight listed as an accomplihsment on an obituary page.....

Marsha was a good woman, loving wife and mother and had dropped to an amazing 125lbs when she died far too young, way to go Marsha.....

Seriously...

I never weigh myself when I'm pre-menstrual or on my period - can't stand to see the number go up so! My ideal time is the week after my period and always second thing in the morning.

Unless you have a really bad weight issue why are you weighing yourself all the time? If your weight seems to be maintained most of the time it would be better to weigh yourself maybe once or twice a week.
