Athiests believe there is not a god.
Agnostics do not confirm or deny the existance of a god - they believe knowing whether there is a god is impossible. It is possible to be an agnostic and subscribe to a religion, but not an athiest.
From Wikipedia: "Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge or, alternatively, that while certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism."

Atheism is the disbelief in the existence of any deities. Atheism is commonly defined as the positive belief that deities do not exist. However, others—including most atheistic philosophers and groups—define atheism as the simple absence of belief in deities
Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge or, alternatively, that while certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. The term agnostic is also used to describe those who do not absolutely commit themselves about the existence of deities as well as about other matters of religion.

I am not sure, but someone told us that atheists deny the existence of God. They say God doesn't exist. Agnostics say that it is not possible to know whether God exists or not. They do not deny that God exists. They do not say that there is no God. But they say that it is impossible to know whether God exists or not. Sometimes, agnostics have many religions or they try all religions. I think agnostics are not sure what they believe but atheists are sure that there is no God.

Here we go again. 9_9 This is - what? - the 47th time this week and the 83rd time this month, if memory serves me.
Atheism is akin to saying "innocent until proven guilty".
Religion is akin to saying "guilty until proven innocent".
Agnosticism is akin to saying "maybe he's guilty, maybe he isn't".
Maybes are fine for speculation and indecisiveness, but when dealing with facts, either something is false or something is true; there is no "maybe", baby.
