if you are able to buy your own drink.
absolute confidence that you will not get drunk.
can remain sober while driving.
drinking is not going to affect your studies, career or family life.
then any age is good to start with your first drink.
and one last word of caution...do a good home work...ie..what are the brands, how to drink what and when..don't get carried away..
if possible have your first one with your dad or grandpa

It varies , I've seen thing on the news when underprivileged kiddies get into it at 8! Otherwise the AVERAGE is probably 14 here in the land of West Australia.

Sounds like you are too young to drink, That's why there are laws that prohibit underage drinking.
