Jesus is a little busy right now
at major hospitals across the globe
comforting families with real problems !
He has very little time to be playing man-servant
to someone with esteem problems -- but if you
do choose to leave--- he'll be sure to meet you at the door
he always takes time for new arrivals--- it's a routing thing !!!

When Jesus died and rose from the grave, He did not go back to being omnipresent (Everywhere at once), He rose from the dead in the type of body we will have when we go to heaven. He ascended to the right hand of God-where he intercedes for the saints. So he is in heaven until he returns and then he will rule amongst His people. So unless your bed is heaven-He will not tuck you in. He can hear you pray to Him and I am sure he would love to hear from you.

no, because it will create a desire in you to have him tuck you in everynight. people who look for signs doesn't build faith, only more desires for signs.

Jesus won't (he's gay, and also dead).

But I could tuck you in instead, if you'd like.

First, let's just look at what you've got to look forward to as an atheist. What does atheism tell us? It tells us that everything came from nothing and it came about just by random chance. 'Nothing' just 'blew up' or should we say 'started expanding' like a balloon(the big bang). It expanded for 15 billion years and is still expanding. Fifty years ago no one knew you or I were coming. All of a sudden we appear on this earth and 99.99999% of the world still doesn't know we are here and will never know. We live our 70 years on this earth in a life that is filled with problems, one after another. There's no God to help us in our problems. All there is out there is matter, molecules in motion and cold dark space. We're just 'cosmic orphans'. We are the accidental by-product of nature. A result of matter plus time plus chance. There is no real reason for our existence. With no hope of immortality our life leads only to the grave. Our life is but a spark in the infinite blackness, a spark that appears, flickers and dies forever. Compared to the infinite stretch of time, the span of mans life is but an infinitesimal moment, and yet this is all the life he will ever know. If life just ends at the grave then it makes no difference whether one has lived as a Hitler or as a Mother Theresa. Since one's destiny is ultimately unrelated to one's behavior, you might as well live as you please. You die, go into the grave and the worms eat you. That's it. You're gone. One hundred years after we're dead, very few, if anyone, will know that we ever lived. Then the universe will go on for another 15 billion years and die a heat death. Mankind is a doomed race in a dying universe. Because the universe will eventually cease to exist, it makes no difference whether it ever did exist. Mankind is no more significant than a swarm of mosquitos or a barnyard of pigs, for their end is all the same. No wonder Oliver Wendell Holmes, one of America's most famous legal minds(and also an atheist), once said that he saw no difference between a man, an ant and a rock. The same blind cosmic process(evolution) that coughed them up in the first place will eventually swallow them again. Atheism says that man is just a lump of slime that somehow evolved into rationality.
What does Christianity offer you? Will Jesus physically come by and tuck you in? No! But, He will give you a future, an eternal future. The knowledge that you have eternal life with Him in paradise will get you through the tough times here on earth. You're only here about 70 years. Seventy years compared to eternity is zero and besides, the problems are going to be there whether you are a christian, agnostic or an atheist. Becoming an atheist is not going to make the problems go away. Everyone has problems. That's just the nature of the beast in this world. He will actively be there for you while you're going through those problems. Mathew 11:28-30 says " "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Christ will take care of your needs, not necessarily your wants but your needs. In Phillipians 4:19 Paul the Apostle says "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus".
He will take away any fear of death that you might have. 1John 5:13 says "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God". It doesn't say "that you may think, wish or hope". It says that you may KNOW.
He will give you meaning and purpose in your life. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his PURPOSE". There is purpose in the christian life because when you turn your life over to Christ He takes it and leads you in the path He knows is best for you.
He will also bring people into your life who will help you to grow in your new faith and will be like family to you. Psalms 68:6 says
"God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy".
He'll also do a zillion other things which I don't have the space to list.
Christianity is not a works religion like all the rest of the religions. It's not a bunch of rules and regulations and do's and don'ts and if you do more of the good deeds than the bad deeds then you go to heaven and if you're heavy on the bad deeds then you go to hell and God just sort of grades on a curve. Good deeds(according to the bible) can never get anyone to heaven. Only sinless perfection gets a person to heaven(not practically, but legally). But that is no longer impossible since Christ has paid for our sins. From a legal standpoint all the sins we have ever or will ever commit have been paid for. The only real question is will you accept what He has done for you on the cross. Christianity, unlike all the other religions is a supernatural religion. It says that if you acknowledge that you are a sinner and need a savior and you accept what Jesus did for you on the cross as your savior and ask Him to come into your heart, He will come into your heart. Also, He sends the Holy Spirit to live inside you. He gives you spiritual life so that you can have a personal relationship with God. In Christianity, God is not unknowable and distant and infinitely unapproachable. God wants to have a personal relationship with you. It is a dialogue. You speak to Him in prayer. He speaks back to you through His Word(The Bible) and also through your daily experiences. You come to know Him and trust Him in your daily walk.
What Christ did on the cross was to open the way to God to anyone who really wants it enough to turn their life over to Christ. 1Peter 3:18 says "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might BRING US TO GOD, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit";
It is open to anyone. John3:16 says"For God so loved the WORLD, that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life". The only question is "What do you think of Christ"(Mathew 22:42).

If you click on 'Broadcast' and then click on Audio Achives you can get all kinds of Audio messages. I think his archives go back to 2006. If you click on 'video archives' you can get all kinds of video messages in streaming video. This is the christian answer to your problem, which I believe is the only answer. He talks about depression, fear, worry, guilt feelings, lack of meaning in your life, slavery to habits and many more things from the bibles perspective. He talks about God and how you can know Him in a personal way. The topics are all labeled so you can pick and choose what you want to listen to. Also, find yourself a church(I recommend one of the Calvary Chapels if there is one near you) but there are other good churches. Just find one that believes the word and teaches it verse by verse. God does Love you(John3:16).
