If you've flown with Qantas on an international flight formore than 5 hours. how does it size up to the other airlines you've flown with in terms of seat size, and general comfort.

I think it is much better than most! Besides China Air, Quantas was the more comfy and better service than any other airline I have flown internationally.

All economy seats on local or international flights have the same size seat and minimal legroom.
I have flown on Qantas, BA, Singapore and others, sometimes for 14 hours, but in the end you say that was a good flight, got there.
If you get seats down the back, near the tail, where there are only 2 seats between the window and the isle, you do get more space.

I was very happy with the service. The seats are more comfy than most. That being said, it's been a few years since I've flown with them, and I don't know if they've changed their seating arrangements (as most airlines have) to squeeze in more seats.

The service was good. Wish the seats reclined a little more and that there were bigger seats in economy, especially for a 14 hour flight. It was pretty bloody uncomfortable.

Flew last summer w/my best friend. We booked the window & aisle seats on three-seat row. There were plenty of empty seats on both flights and there was no overcrowding. And talk about service & in-flight entertainment - simply tops!
