when i weight lift i turn very red. LITERALLY
i mean i am light skinned but i see people lighter than me and they dont turn red at all when weight lifting.
i sometimes start to think that im not lifting the right way and im putting too much pressure on my whole body (especially me head) rather than the muscles im working out.

is this normal? do i gotta breathe more or something?
its embarassing

You are right to be concerned. Too many weight lifters will hold their breath as they are lifting. This puts added pressure on your heard and brain so the blood will automatically go to those areas most in need of oxygen (that is why you turn red). Try deep breathing while you lift (you may have to start off with lower weights until you get used to it because you have most likely been in the habit of holding your breath)

The stain on ur system is more if u are doing the practice after a long period of lethargy. Please continue to practice and do not feel embarassed.

Eat only when hungry. Eat not more than three times a day unless u r diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

I think it's because you're not breathing properly. The blood flow is suspended when you hold your breath upon lifting. Try inhaling deeply upon lifting and exhaling while bringing the weights down.

You are probably lifting too much weight. Lift less, slow it down, and synchronize your inhales and exhales with your effort. Go to http://exrx.net/Exercise.html for lessons on proper form, or hire a trainer to guide you and give pointers.

breathe deeply so that the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide will befast. since you need extra effort to lift weight
