Hi, I'm on a combination of Lexapro and Welbutrin-- I've had the XL and the SR-- didn't notice much difference. It's surely been a good drug for me, and lots of people are taking it. The SR, I guess, is slow release. I'm just glad it's around in any form, considering the drugs (Paxil, for one) that I was taking before. I'm on the XL now. If you are considering taking it I wish you as positive a result as I've had.

wellbutrin xl is better. SR ie sustained release tabs may precipitate fits in some. So it is removed from routine use.

that depends on your therapist,still the sustained release form are more convenient on the long run.
