Happens by itself after 7 to 31 weeks (depending on the fluids in the mid-cingulate cortex of your front lobe). Nothing to worry about, you will not notice it yourself...., actually it is quite nice. The frustrations of the Dubai life you had in the beginning start getting less agressive.

Like when another 4wheel car cuts you coming from the 5th lane on Sheikh Zayed Road to make it to the exit that he (or she of course) suddenly decides to take..., you will smile and think: 'wow, that is well-done, coming so close to the bumper of my car and still miss it'.

Or when the developer of the apartment you bought tells you that he suddenly has a delay of 8 months on the delivery of your place you already paid for..., you tell yourself: 'this challenge I would never have encountered in my home country'

And then the landlord of your rented villa tells you that you have to pay 40% more the coming year or he will move into the villa himself. You feel that you are not going to live there the rest of your live anyway, so you can bear this for a little while.

Driving around the blocked and dead-locked parking garage at the Mall of the Emirates you don't think: 'what kind of an *%(#@! did design this area, and did he even got paid for this job?'..... no, you would be happy because you are confident your 9 year old son could make the same ingenious design'.

See.... a few years in Dubai softens your brain, you can easily handle any hussle anywhere in the world after you have left this heaven on earth.

You can describe this process in many ways. But I think 'the Dubai Brain Transfusion' says it all..... 'you have this thinking mass up there....., you insert some extreme impressions.... and this transfers your private hard disk into a different kind of fusion.
