I have been dating this guy for about a month. We have never had sex, but he spends the night sometimes. This morning he found a used condom on the floor by my bed. I told him that he was the only person I was dating, and that the condom was my brother's condom from 2 nights ago, but he says he feels awkward. He said that he would call, but he hasnt.

Of course he is going to think the worst. It was beside your bed, not your brother's. Does your brother always take girls home and have sex with them on your bed? Why? Was someone else having sex on his bed at the time? You must think your boyfriend is really gullible or just plain stupid.
If the situation were reversed, would you just say that you believed him right away? Think carefully about that last question.
You have a very difficult situation on your hands and it may be that you did not handle it properly. If you really care for him, than you should be going after him and showing him that he is the only one. Not just waiting for him to call. By doing that, you are showing him that you don't care about him very much. And maybe the condom didn't really belong to your brother.

He probably won't call, and this should teach you a lesson. I am not saying that you should not be having sex with more than one partner, and it is great that you are using condoms, but really! On the floor? I am not impressed with any man who would be so careless as to leave a used condom around in the first place without proper disposal. You may need to rethink your sex partners.
Obviously you are lacking in the cleaning department. In the future make sure you tidy up both the bedroom and the bathroom prior to bring a date home for sex.
Also, it is important to ascertain whether the people you are dating have the same standards as you do. Obviously this guy does not want to sleep with anyone who is sleeping with someone other than him. That is his right to decide, but maybe you should find out in the future how your prospect feels about multiple sex partners.

I am with him on this one. Sorry. From this, if I were in his position, I'd be thinking that either you're having sex with another guy, or if it is your brother's condom, your brother his having sex in your bed which is pretty weird as well. Try calling him, maybe time will solve things, but it might be too weird for him.

Symone, thats a toughy. i do understand where your boyfriend is coming from. what i believe is the true culprit behind him not calling back is because i dont think he was happy with what you have shown him of yourself in the small amount of time you ywo have been together. i think that this whole condom thing was the straw that broke the camels back. you actually gave him a good way out. you probably should move on cause if your honest about what your story says, your guy should have been able to see that.

Ew....that's kinda gross. Call him and reassure him that it wasn't your condom. If you and your brother share the room or something, it's totally plausible that it could be your brother's. If he still can't trust you and take your word, there's not much you can do. At some point, he needs to let this go if he really likes & trusts you.
