It would be fun meeting other people but be careful because most of the users do not present real information about themselves (most common the pictures that they claim to be theirs but in fact are pictures of models or other innocent people..try asking for everyday picture and not the model-perfect ones they post)....
Check out nigerian romance scam at yahoo and you'll be surprised (and disappointed/ paranoid like me when I first learned about it) to discover that people you have talked to and met are actually liars and scammers (they have previously victimized other people emotionally and financially)...
It's quite a risk but then by law of probability, eventually you get to meet real people who might be worth knowing....and finding THE ONE....

ANY,, i repeat ANY.. dating sight that charges money, is a scam..and no matter what they promise, it never never happens.. find a free site that dont ask for credit cards.
