The higher the numbers (multiplied together), the better quality picture. Also, the larger the number of bytes it uses up.
Te ratio of the numbers will tell you how high they will be to the width of the picture. Like HD is much wider than high.

The difference is the size your picture will come out. Those are dimensions that you see 128 by 96. when you have a better camera phone you can take better pictures. I hope you atleast have a 1.3 megapixel camera on your phone, if not they will come out small and blurry due to the resolution limit. 320x240 will be the biggest picture size you can take. so a bigger picture hope that helps...

VGA resolution 640*800 is a standard resolution and can easily be converted for viewing on TV and computer, As the technology is normal which is being preloaded with the computers, the size is well large and picture quality is good enough as compared to QCIF 176*144 which produces small sized movies and images and is to be converted to the compatible one by the software provided to you by the hardware vendor. Please note that the Picture quality,Picture Size,Display type,Conversion to CD the VGA is better.

128x96 means that there are 128 pixels across & 96 downwards. The higher the better, but then again a 320x240 video takes up more space/memory in your memory card. You are recommended to use 320x240 because anything lower that that is just lousy.
