When I was a teen, my step sister had broken a bone, at dinner one night she kept sucking the marrow out of the meat bone saying that the marrow would help in her healing. I found it to be gross yet also wondered if there was something to that. I have never myself eaten marrow, yet have seen others that have. Saw another that enjoyed the marrow in a T-bone steak. Not to my liking...but they liked it...so fine for them.

The vegetable marrow is lovely, I like it raw, or stuffed with meat. If you mean marrow inside of bones then it's not something I eat a lot of on purpose.

It's actually a delicassy and is very delicious. There is an Italian dish called Osso bucco and it has bone marrow. In the Philippines , it is boiled and turned into a very hearty stew. The French just serve it with toasted bread and it is excellent! You should try it :)

A common folk remedy for colds and fatigue is to boil bones and make a marrow broth. It can be very tasty, but I'm not sure about the actual healing powers it possesses, if any.

Osso bucco is good, but I've never just sucked the marrow from bones. I find the texture off-putting. Jellied meat is kinda icky.

It is very delicious. Cooked of course!
Suck at the end of the bone (pork or beef).
The feet contain a lot of it.
It is like eating a snail or escargot on its shell.
