It is real alright! It attaches itself to every mother's son, it likes to slip into warm moist holes...No, its not venomous or else a lot of women would have died, but its sting is so powerful that the swelling may last for around nine months.

I'm hoping this is a joke...but just in case:
'One eyed trouser snake' is a slang term for penis. Obviously it lives in a guy's trousers. It isn't really venomous in the conventional sense; except that bites have been reported to occasionally cause a syndrome of occasional nausea followed by severe abdominal swelling, terminating in intense cramping and the appearance of a small, noisy parasitic primate.
(It has also been said that life is a sexually transmitted disease with 100% mortality, but that's also a sort of joke.)
