Or shall I say the tribulation. I have not idea how it is all going to play out, but if the tribulation happens after a major warm when do you think thinks will escalate into a huge war in the world? With the middle east on the rink of boiling point, Russia now involved in the peace process for the middle east, Iran and their nuclear weapons, India want to test their missiles, China expanding their armies, North Korea have got nuclear weapons, Egypt wants now to develop weapons, I believe the world is on the verge of world war 3 and I believe it could be within 10-15 years. Then the tribulation will not be too far away because a world leader will probablly come out in the caos of all of this and make peace with Israel and many countries. If that is the case then the return of Christ is not too far away. But I believe before the tribulation their has to be a huge major war throughout the planet. And that is is not the making as we speak. There are very exiting times we live in.

Also before the antichrist comes out the stock market all around the world hs to be one the brink of colapse, and more of the tsunamis in rapid sequence, and famine so bad to the point many more around the world will die. It will be shocking. I believe the US will be attack by Russia and China and possibally Iran. So Christians I believe the tribulation period will be after a major crisis all around the world, and that is not yet but in the making, so do not get too tied up that the tribulation will start tomorrow because it will not. It will be awhile yet and so will the rapture.

I think we are definitely headed in that direction.

But in my studies of the scripture I'm firmly convinced that the great tribulation period spoken about is a spiritual tribulation period where hardly anyone will be becoming saved.

Matthew 24:21-22 "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. "

If those tribulation days were extended for a longer period no one on the face of the earth would become saved. Remember in Matthew 24 Jesus says wars and rumors of wars will come but many times he warns against false prophets and false christs coming to deceive right before his return.

The tribulation is a time that the gospel has shut down almost completely since all of Israel has finally crossed over the Red Sea... (do you see the parallel?) Next thing to come is Judgment.

It will be a time where Satan and his demons will be loosed from their restraints and given freedom to deceive the entire world and to single handedly take down Christianity through spiritual deceptions. This I believe is Armageddon.

Please also read Revelation where the two prophets are eventually killed by the beast. Again the two prophets are the two lampstands that give light to the world and in my opinion are a reference to the New Testament church.

It's really not good to give too much thought to this, although we are told to keep watchful eye for the signs. The closer we get the more sure we will all be. Because of a vision I was given from God, I believe it will be in my lifetime. I don't want to hurt or scare anyone because I could be wrong. I might just be a total whacko, who knows :). The only thing we really need to worry about is our relationship with Jesus, let Him help us live our lives in preparation to met Our Father.

It is written that none know the specific day of the end times except the Father. If this is true then no mortal will know unless He chooses to reveal it, presumably to the faithful through grace. Until that happens simply follow His will and be ready. It may not occur in your lifetime; this would not be the first time people thought the last days were imminent, and turned out to be mistaken.

The answer is admittedly speculative. So lets just stick to what we KNOW. "We're one day closer today than we were yesterday"....theBerean
