Well ours is A black Dodge charger and the older crown victorias and some even have chevy tahoes ?
What kind of car does your local police office usually drive?

In So Cal, our cops use the New
Dodge Charger sedans, a few
Dodge Magnum Wagons, as well as
Ford Expidition SUV and the tried and true
Ford Crown Victoria sedan.
I understasnd the most of the Police departments all over the USA will be getting the Dodge Charger sedans both V-6 and V8 models, over the next few years...Most Highway Patrol will have the V8.
The reason for these changes is Ford is on it's way out with the OLD Crown Victoria, just as GM did with it's Old Chevrolet Caprice

Our police drive mainly old Ford Crown Victorias. They also have a couple of old Chevy Silverados. There are also several Chevy Tahoes. Neighboring cities have the new Dodge Chargers, but yet to see one in my city.

Crown Vics, Expeditions, a few Impalas.
edit: Kingman, AZ. The Kingman police tend towards the CVs, the Mohave County Sheriffs go more for trucks.

Most of the black and whites are still the crown victorias, but now our sheriff has a couple 2006 camaros (fast!!) and a couple durangos. The other day I saw a pt cruiser!! You never know what they'll be driving next! I am a safe driver and for the most part obey the law, but I also know my car does 60 in second gear, so I say more power to them!

I seen a dodge charger the other day too. I couldn't believe the cop was driving such a cool car!

small chevy either cavaliers or impalas, 1 or 2 blazers, but the MD state troopers use the crown vics

I have seen cops in dodge charger, firebird, mustang and mostly fords near where I live in NC
