Around here it is 55. 55 saves life's they had not come up with a new slogan for the higher speeds I guess? We have many people killed on our roads around here so doubt it is going to go up any time soon.

We our in Central Oregon.

Texas (I-45, for example) it's 70 day, 60 night (except trucks, which are limited to 60 at all times)
Service roads - 50
City streets - 30-40 (except school zones, 20)

All of the above, with the exception of school zones are not enforced. If you're doing 75-80 on I-45, you'd better be in the right lane or you'll incur the wrath of other drivers!

I live in California and the speed limits vary depending on what road you are on, etc. The freeways closest to me in North California are 65mph. The highways are usually 55mph but sometimes change to 60mph when you cross a county line. Then when you hit certain interstates the speed limit goes to 70mph. On residential streets its 35mph unless otherwise posted. As far as a minimum, I don't know if we have one. I guess I'm grateful that wasn't on the drivers test.

Maryland, around the Greater Baltimore area, is 65 on the highway low 50, 45 to 55 on the interstates, usually 25-30 in residential, and in school zones it is highest 45 and lowest 15. Random question. Good job, ;)

In Washington state, 60 mph for freeways in congested areas, and 70 out in the boondocks. Residential streets, typically 25; arterials, 35. Highways vary depending on terrain.

youngsters are continually operating and taking area in, in college, round college, on the thanks to school. If one newborn has a squirt gun and is chasing his pal, that pal would run out in the line to stay away from being squirted. the children are not any further taking understand vehicles driving through. do not you keep in suggestions once you've been a newborn? We goofed round each and each and every of the time. The slower the vehicle is going, the more beneficial time the driver has to react and end a motorized vehicle. perhaps a newborn did get harm on your area and the mummy and father requested the city to diminish the speed reduce to enhance protection. they have decreased % limits round my domicile too at the moment, i don't understand no matter if that is because of more beneficial site visitors, protection, or they prefer getting more beneficial sales at the same time as they write tickets. no count number what, do not % through a school zone. you'd be so sorry in case you killed someones newborn. I heard about one kinfolk that sued someone who ran over their newborn. He had to pay in trouble-free terms $1000 besides the undeniable fact that it had to be $a million a week for 1000 weeks. imagine how undesirable you would experience writing a $a million examine for 19 years.

I live in Ontario, Canada and the limits are too darn slow. I'm either counting the blades of grass or counting snowflakes. 100km/hr (62.5 miles per hour) highway or 80km ( 50mph) in the country. Most of the rural roads have been reduced to 60km/hr or 40mph. Residentail streets are 50km/hr (30mph) or 40km/hr (24mph) (School zones). How do I know the limits are too low, because no one drives at them. If the limits get any slower, we can go back to the days of the horse and buggy, which would suit me to a tee. At least you have an excuse for going slow.
