first you should seek some professional help,go and see a psychiatrist.if what you said is true.then you might be suffering from psychotic process not depression.
other possibility is PTSD,if you meant flashbacks.

could also be related to bipolar disorder or scitzo-effective disorder. depression is unlikely though. i suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and severe depression, and have never had flashbacks of sounds or anything like that. you may be having hallucinations (don't worry about it) but seriously the only real way you are going to get answers is by going to a psychologist. he or she will help you out.

I cant pinpoint exactly what this is but no it is not depression. Depression is a fixed low mood, thats all, no hallucinations no voices or sounds id see a therapist though, maybe theyll have some ideas on what is causing this

im actually readying something about post trauma.
it talks about flashbacks.
for what ive read, its normal you just went through a very traumatic experience.
try to handle it, i mean by not getting sad, or shocked or anything, first of all accept what happend, i know its hard, but you have to and you can do it. wasnt your fault. and talk about it. it will help alot!

I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and i do suffer from flashbacks and faces of my late husband who committed suicicide.

flash backs are evident during times of extreme traumatic episodes.......COULD BE A CHEMICAL IMBALANCE ..check with a GP and then pscyhologist
