are we just really good friends? or is there something there?

i love my guy friend ALOT and i'm pretty sure it's just the kind of deep love you have for a friend. it's easy for me to see us as just friends but whenever we're together i feel like i can easily hold hands him and be close to him like a girlfriend(i haven't done that yet). on the other hand i don't want to go out with him. our friendship is too precious and i love him too much. yet when he takes my hand and place it on his heart so i can feel his heartbeat after running, or when he ask me to give him my hand so he can try to electric shock me, or pay for my lunch, or take my hand and waltz with me i feel like we share a special bond. he has a crush on another girl and i still have feelings for this guy i use to talk to. i don't know why i'm feeling this way. i've come to a conclusion that it's because i love him so much as a friend. we get along great and he has been there for me when i was going through boy problems and i've been there for him when he broke up with his g/f of 2 yrs

i use to have a crush on him in sophomore year of high school. now we're both in college and have become really close. i just really love him and wanna know what's up between him and me. are GOOD friends like us?

This happened to my daughter. Almost identical situation. She decided to find out what was going on and had a long talk with the guy. Turns out, he loved her very much, but was not "into her" the same way that she thought he might be. When she found that out, her feelings changed somewhat and she climbed down from her romantic inclination and they are still friends. But, she told me that things are not the same because she crossed the line of friendship and suggested a romantic angle to their relationship.

So, if the friendship is good, just maintain your current course with him. If there is anything romantic in your future, let him be the one to make the move. You already know that you might entertain that development and you don't need to do anything more.

Well it would REALLY suck if he doesnt like you more than a friend because he sounds like a really sweet person! I think he likes you, and maybe he has a lil crush on another girl but if he DOES like you more than a friend he defenitly likes you better, Hey im goin through the same thing right now with my guy friend dan. I love him too much and everything i do involves him! Im also too afraid that put precious friendship will fall apart if i tell him i love him but IM GONNA DO IT I SWEAR!! I think ill invite him over next weekand and do it :) and if u wanna tell him u like him then say something like this "theres something really special about you, i mean not just special friend special. Its way more than that. It amases me...." and then you can add whatever alse sounds cute and romantic. Good luck!!!!!
