Liddell isn't hiding from Silva, PRIDE never wanted that fight, they were advertising PRIDE right infront of Dana White.

Dana White was just on the MMAWeekly radio show the other night. He said they are not "actively" trying to buy Pride FC, but if it is for sale, he is definitely interested. He said he would run it as a separate promotion in Asia. Ed Fishman, the Pride FC USA President, has said that he would like to buy Pride FC as well, but he didn't sound like he knew anything about MMA in an interview I read. As of now, it looks like Pride is staying put....but anything can happen.

It would make sense, look at the number of Pride fighters they have been bringing over. Wanderlei was supposed to fight Chuck in November, Cro Cop and Rampage just had their first UFC fights and Joe Rogan does haev inside scoops to information. It does sound like a rumor with some substance.

That is actually true. Dana White did make an offer which was declined. Right now the company with the best shot is the Pride USA division.

Yeah right! Pride could probably buy UFC with all the revenue they make in Japan. Like Pride is only known to the hardcore MMA fans here, UFC is only known to the hardcore MMA fans in Japan. Pride events draw in almost 3 to 1 versus UFC events, in english for every single person that buys a ticket to see a UFC event, 3 people in Japan are buying tickets to Pride events. Pride is reaching out for a US market so UFC better be the ones watching their backs.

Yes they are but PrideFC is not actually for sale they are just trying to get free press in america to expand their market, if the best MMA promotion in america is trying to buy this unknown foreign MMA promotion then just the interest of the UFC is good press for Pride. If you want to know how Pride does business just ask Rampage Jackson they are shady.

They already did - they have Cro Cop.
All they need now is Fedor, Wanderlei Silva, Shogun and the Nog brothers - then, they will have Pride. And just for good measure, they'll get Gomi too!

That would make sense as losing the Fuji TV contract really hurt Pride's cash flow.
