"...if some of them use it themselves?" -do you mean other girls? Then I suppose this girl just didn't like it, and she may not want to either use it or hear it. That 'some of them' curse doesn't mean they all do.

If you mean *she* uses it herself then she either has double standards or she was just about to leave and it was all coincidence!

It's called the double-standard & one-way street only a select few get to travel down. I hear you!
I understand what you are saying Night, but if that's generally true & accepted why do most actors or actresses on alot of movies use those colorful words?
Us as intelligent adults wouldn't want to watch the movies with language in them, then. And the intelligent writers, directors & producers would omit them. ???!!
Did you know that Steel Magnolias is rated PG but it has God then damn in it several times. That's more offensive than any other swear word in my book. There's alot of people who don't feel like they need to be sensitive to that. (out in public & all.)
I like that show minus that language. I tried to find tv guardian where I live to filter out those words, but maybe it's not in big enuf demand....

generally speaking, well spoken people of some intelligence can usually make their point about anything without using that word. It doesn't sound nice and it's especially rude for men to use it around women. As for the women who chose to use the word, that's equally as bad. I would walk away too.
