While I think your complaint has merit, I also think it is off-base because of an invalid assumption. You assume that the people you are complaining about really are Christians. But, many things are done in the name of Christianity that are inherently unchristian. The Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition are good examples. You can turn your TV onto religious programming and find numerous contemporary examples (usually involving fund-raising cloaked in one heresy or another).
You can't see the state of a man's soul, but you can usually make an educated guess based on his words and actions. But, in order to determine whether he talks and acts like a Christian, you need a standard or benchmark. In this case, it's the Bible. False Christians either don't read it or read it very selectively (avoiding the verses they don't like). If you want to know what a real Christian is, read a Bible--and read it like any other book, keeping everything in context.

Its more than christians you are talking about, its is people in general iam not gonna get into to what religiong is what, but I have had the same notion with athiests, I got so harrassed for attending church it drove me into hating all athiests( which is not reasonable even by christian means). People in there nature want to discomfort others. I know the same thing goes on on the other way around. Iam half native too so religion is divided in my family. I remember an athiest screaming that christians are harming there kids and that their children dont belong with their families. My father wanted to kill them, my brothers stopped him from. you see he was one of the children that the gov. took away from their families and put into state ran schools because of this subject. SO if you let them frustrate you this much, you have a problem, whether it be religiously or a self esteem issue (unless they are physcally shoving stuff in your face). Cause people will get hurt down the road. It happens to everyone faith and unfaith it doesnt matter your subject to widespread prejiduce for something, everyone goes thru it, remember that

Christianity makes me want to scream. Not necessarily Christians themselves, though. Yeah, you're right about the "Bipolar Sky Daddy" thing. Well said. Go Atheism!!!

Well, I'm a Christian, and some of them even make me a little angry, but then so do the rude atheists as well!

honestly all religiously focused people have a stick up their ***
i believe in God, and thats all I know. each religion comes in such a package with other beliefs that I don't really want. I make my own religion, because being the best person I can is enough.
But yes, it seems like what is supposed to be bliss and peace turns to groups of people who act like they are rooting for different football teams.
it's engrossing.

You might not agree or belief in Yahweh (God).
But your opinions and ideas will not and does not change who He is.
Or the fact that His Holy Word says, all who do not accept the message given to the whole world; by His Son (Yeshua/Jesus Christ) will be punished.
Look at it this way::
The USA has rules, law, and regulations; that citizens must follow or they will be punished for breaking them.
In some cases, we are then brought before a judge to sentence us; according to the law(s) that were broken.
Now, do you think that Yahweh's Kingdom is any different?
Do you think that He does not have a right to set the rules, law, and regulations for His Kingdom?
Or that He does not have the right, to judge all people according to the laws He set?
If you try to put Yahweh (God) in a box that fits your idea, opinions, or concepts of what or who Yahweh is "in your mind". The only thing you are doing is breaking His Law - (I am the LORD your God, you shall have no other gods before me or make for yourself an idol)
And also when you belittle or ridicule Him in any way, shape, or form; that is called blaspheme.
These are not my words, but His Ways.
If it upsets you, I am sorry. I am here as His redeemed child, to tell you and all people of this world the truth about Yahweh.

oh god yes, sometimes they drive me nuts. the other day i was talking to a grown man who said dinosours werent real. he really believes that they are created in the back of the museum as part of an anti-christian plot. he actually said "no one has ever even seen one of those things being taken out of the ground!" if they where created in gods image. it kind of makes you wish someone alittle smarter was pulling the strings dont it?

ABSOLUTELY!! I know a woman who claims to be a Christian. She's very knowledgeable about the bible. But knowing/reading the Word doesn't make you a Christian. She just uses the word of God to wrap around her bad behaviour. She fools a lot of people...... but not me.
