I think powdered milke tastes gross, period. Can you not drink chocolate milk or hot chocolate? Both of those taste great, not like milk at all. You might try hot milk, maybe just before you go to bed. Hot milk tastes different from cold milk, so you might like it better. Also, 1% or 2% fresh milk tastes less strong than whole milk--whole milk has a really strong taste! And the fresher, the better. As soon as milk gets a little bit old, it tastes blah. And milk goes old pretty fast. So you might get it in little cartons. Plus, there are all diff types of "milk" out there now. Soy milk, regular milk, goat milk, Mootopia (something by HEB--not sure what it is :)...the list goes on. I'd try diff things and see what you like (or dislike least). Just skip the powdered stuff. Yuck. :)

Why do you have to drink milk? Can't you just explain to people that you've already been weaned? Has it ever occurred to you that humans are the only species that drink milk after they've been weaned? No wonder your body doesn't want it, especially if you're lactos intolerant. Why do you say you need to drink at least a glass everyday? There are many other ways to get calcium.
If you dislike the taste of milk, it's for a reason. Listen to what your body tells you. I had the same problem a a kid. The thought of mik made me sick. Hey, I've been weaned, okay. I love yogurt, cheese, etc. But just the thought of drinking milk grosses me out. It's just totally abnormal after you've been weaned. If no animal will do it, why would a person?

Milk brands are pretty regional, so our recommendations might not help you. I suddenly became really sensitive to the taste of milk, so I only have milk with cereal. I also drink Nestle's chocolate milk (but it's much less healthy than just drinking straight milk because of the added calories and sugar). To make sure I'm getting calcium in a healthier way than chocolate milk, I eat yogurt and cheese daily. Cheese in particular makes a great snack, and you can eat it on your way to work if it's string cheese.

Try Soy milk which is considered an alternative to milk. It's 100% vegetarian and has a lot of health benefits like lowers the cholesterol, contains 8 essential amino acids, omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and many more.
It tastes really good and it comes in flavors as well.

I don't like cow milk. Won't drink an animal's calf nutrition anymore. Plus the stuff fouls within the containers. I like soy milk, made from beans. It goes good with cereal. It might sound weird, but it tastes way better. When it comes to cooking ingredients that call for milk, I guess one would need cow milk. If you do things my way it is more expensive though.

If you hate the taste of milk there's nothing you can do cos you cant have a good diet without drinking any milk. I would suggest adding more milk to your cornflkakes in the morning, cos that will make it taste nicer.

Yes me too I do not take it. If I need milk at all I use soya on my cereals and in my scrambled egg. Hate milk with a passion it always made me feel ill as a kid. Try rice milk and see how you get on...but watch the calories.

why do you need to have milk. Just take a calcium pill for your calcium or orange juice with calcium added. The less fat the less flavor in milk i think so drink fat free.
